Context and editorial approach
The visual identity of the Micro Festival is built around a central idea: the tension between the micro and the macro. Graphically, that concept becomes a constant visual interplay between minimal elements — pixels — and large-scale compositions, producing a versatile, dynamic graphic system with strong conceptual weight.
Pixels become the visual backbone of the proposal: they appear as texture, as background and as typographic fill. Their origin is not arbitrary — each one comes from real images of the festival's line-up, bringing meaning, visual cohesion and an implicit narrative. Through these pixels the small is amplified and becomes part of the whole, reflecting the essence of the project.
Storytelling and graphic system
The identity plays with large typographic blocks that contrast sharply with the micro-patterns generated by the pixels. This duality creates visual tension and graphic rhythm. The colour palette comes straight out of the source photography, resulting in a vibrant, energetic and shifting palette that brings freshness and adaptability to every piece without losing visual unity.
Micro is not only a festival: it is a meeting point between scales, formats and experiences. Its graphic identity moves beyond the decorative to become an extension of the curatorial concept itself. Every application — poster, screen or digital ticket — reinforces the micro/macro narrative, building an immersive, coherent and flexible visual experience.
